We have adopted this system, and improved on it to our needs.Įventually the project grew and we added more players and staff. But what was most liked about the Naruto Izou source was a Stat Point system. Naruto Izou was a game released unto BYOND around 2004-2005, and featured few villages and clans. And I bet he would be willing to fix it up a tad and post it as an open source if people would like to try their hand at making vore-based BYOND games. Lol internet.īut having said that, I know Spencer recently got his game-making data back. Thirdly, he's now known as a drama-fur ala 100% pred, so many people refuse to get to know him or avoid him intentionally, and the few who do still respect him don't openly show it. Secondly, he had no help whatsoever, everything in the game he has done himself practically, with the occasional sprite created by a third party or ripped from, as said, public domain, but then was up to him to create sprite alterations.and as far as I know, the coding in his game, save for the save/load data, was 100% custom. The first being that all the data and coding was lost when his laptop burned and fried and he had no means to get the data off of it. Having said that, there was three primary reasons Spencer could not/did not want to continue his game project. XP The two I speak of being donkey party, and unknown name vore chat, since I forgot what it was called. Alot of these sources you will NOT find anywhere else. There is two other games with vore in them, but both were more chat-based/silly and both are not playable at this point, though I believe one of them can be searched for in the 'dead/long-forgotten' regions of Byond unless it's had a recent cleanup. Byond Sources Want to make your own game Or just want to make your game better with different icons/coding Below is the LARGEST list of downloadable source codes ever put on 1 page. There is only one, actually functional, vore-based game on Byond as it is currently, being Spencer's game. It's been a while since I've been here, but let me barge in on this discussion. I don't think there's anything stopping anyone from making a multiplayer vore game on the system aside from the the comments of the community, which has pretty much stopped me thus far, though I'm pretty sure I've doomed myself with this post mentioning BYOND within it. Thusly, the largest problem I think the system has is the hordes of people who think they're master programmers, but couldn't perform a loop without goto or access object properties without a runtime search of the object variables.īYOND has an unwanted niche market of anime fanboys with copy-and-pasted Naruto sources making games that are progressively worse than the last, and that's where most of the playerbase goes. ![]() The primary feature of the system are that games can be easily made into multiplayer, and it takes a heap of bad programming practice to break a BYOND game so terribly that non-support of a multiplayer environment is actually enforced. The creators of each game on the BYOND system get a "hub page" by default that tells all about their game, but the author also has the option to hide the entry from searches, which is likely what Spencer has done. ![]()
